Kém phấn thua hương

Chỉ người con gái kém sắc, kém duyên hoặc có thân phận bị xem là thấp kém. Thường dùng với sắc thái than thân, tủi phận của người phụ nữ trong quan niệm cũ.

Refers to a woman considered less attractive or less favored, and by extension to the humble or disadvantaged lot of women. It is often used in a tone of self-pity or lament under traditional views of women’s status.
